This smoothie bowl is plant-powered by Ergogenics Organic Greens Powder which contains greens like spirulina and matcha tea, two note-worthy superfoods, among others.

Spirulina is anti-inflammatory, contains protein, B-complex vitamins and is a good source of plant-based iron. Evidence suggests that spirulina may lower blood pressure, LDL cholesterol levels and balance blood sugar levels.

- 2 bananas, frozen

1. Blend banana, avocado, ginger, protein and greens together in a food processor or high powered blender. Tip: For a thick smoothie that holds its toppings, limit liquid. You can also add ice or nut butter at the end to thicken.

2. Scoop smoothie into a bowl and add some beauty with your toppings of choice.
